Birthday Treats
Hey guys It was recently one of our Birds of Chona Jowie's Birthday and heres a small peak into some of the treats she treated herself too. Its always important to buy yourself a few treats as really no one knows you better than yourself so why not indulge in a few guilty pleasures (Well is IS your Birthday). Candles really add an extra touch of ambience to a room and these Yankee Candles smell amazing and a must have if you love Sweet smelling scents. They burn for ages and twas a real treat as Boots has a 3 for 2 offer on at the moment so even better. The range is also quite wide so its not limited to just sweet smelling scents. The Classic Jar costs £16.99 and the Pillar Jars cost £14.99. The White and Mint watches are super cheap and available from eBay and a real good addition to spruce up any bracelets or outfits and there are more colours available online too. The iPhone case is also from eBay and just as cheap though word of warning it doesn't allow your earphones in when the case is on which is a bit of a downer. It just goes to show fashion accessories don't have to be expensive to be chic but be wary of practicality. The De-stressing Aloe Vera Mud Face Mask £2.59 is from Superdrug and is a good Pamper Treat which is so affordable as there are currently so many Expensive Face masks around. It contains aloe extracts and you don't need to be told about the joys of using aloe vera. Soap & Glory Hand Food is a constant repurchase as it smell so good and dry fast without leaving skin feeling greasy. The 2014 Pink Floral Diary is from WHSmith and the Card holder is from Paper chase.

Typical British weather

This photo heavy post is about a recent trip yolanta took to the Lake District in the northwest corner of England in the county of Cumbria. Yolanta and her friend took a riverside stroll but there are so many things to do at The Lake District. Challenging hikes with guided tours, Walking round glorious gardens and treating yourself to afternoon tea which she and her friend did. You could hire a boat or kayak at Coniston Boating Centre. You can hire a bike and cycle the forests or even if you fancy fishing too that is available. It’s the perfect place to have a nice break from City Life as there are cottages for hire available too. There are loads of places with heritage and history to them which makes it even more exciting to explore. There is also the world of Beatrix Potter Attraction with characters like Peter Rabbit adorned all around it including even the shape of the shrubs.

Happy New Year Birdies.

The Birds of Chona are back and this time we have so many exciting new Projects planned for 2014 and we all cant wait to update you all with our progress as we go along. We had a nice lovely spring like day and headed off to Cafe Rouge for Lunch and this is what Bubu wore. The french restaurant is in Dulwich which is such a beautiful and picturesque location we couldn't resist taking some photos to show you especially as some of our birds live nearby.  The lunch was delightful and dessert was even more delicious. Definitely worth the massive food bill we had to fork out for not so good for the finances on a regular.
